Here is a nice song by Anup Jalota ji.
This song is a collection of writings from
a few famous poets and saints.
This song conveys a clear message
to be Humble and Polite.
While we convert Bad into Good.
Not to have Ego of Superiority.
A person must respect the ingredients
used to create any useful product.
Similarly the business Owners must respect their Employees.
One must be humble with gratitude at his heart.
Even a Kings body will leave behind all its wealth after death.
The body of a King is born as a baby and
returns back to the nature after death.
The person who dies has to Leave behind His Wealth and Power.
The human body comes from nature and
returns back to the same nature (carbon-cycle in science)
Only the good Deeds and Blessings remains back after death.
Thus one must be Humble and Gentle to Create Knowledge with Peace.
We are all the Same humans, but the King sits on the throne
and the prisoner is held behind bars.
Thus The Stronger must not torture the weaker.
The poet compares the human society with a grinding mill.
As similar to the two grinding wheels of the machine.
The Nature has Earth and Sky, as two parts of this wheel.
Which keeps turning and grinding, all day and night, non-stop.
Thus everything in nature has a expiry date.
The intellectual who would understand this would be enlightened.
The poet says, that obviously none of us would
drink the dirty water flowing in the drains.
But the same dirty water becomes pure when
connects and mixes in the Sacred River.
As Little bit of Poison Acts as Medicine.
As Little bit of Poison Acts as Medicine.
Meaning, the Bad gets converted into Good when
the smaller amount of bad is mixed into Larger amount of Good.
Conversion while Good is stronger than Bad.
It certainly does not mean that the dirty water
must be directly mixed into the rivers, but
the dirty water must be treated and converted in to good water.
The message is, to convert Bad into Good.
The famous renowned TULSI leaf in India is
well known for its medicinal qualities.
well known for its medicinal qualities.
This Tulsi was obviously a plant in the forests
before it was discovered of its medicinal benefits by human beings.
before it was discovered of its medicinal benefits by human beings.
The message is, the good is always respected.
Thus one must be good and humble to acquire respect.
The poet says, do not forget the poor ones who helped you to become rich.
The poor man who is good and humble must be respected.
The message is, to be humble and gentle.
Why use a SWORD while you can use the NEEDLE.
As the needle is used to join and mend the broken parts.
While the sword is used to break and cut into parts.
The message is, to join and heal with Compassion
Instead of destroying with anger and hatred.
Covert using constructive Compassion peacefully.
The poet says, Love is similar to a thin thread.
Thus one must take care to be humble and gentle.
While handing this delicate thread of Love.
Because once the thread is broken
it can be joined only by a knot
which gets damaged, losing the original shape.
The poet Rahim had respect for krishna
even though he was a muslim.
He was one of the ministers in the Akbar Empire.
He was great donor who gave alms to help the weaker.
He was very polite and humble
while he gave donations and alms.
He never had the ego of his strength and wealth.
While others misunderstood him to be ashamed,
but the real fact was he had a humble nature.
When someone gives respect
it must not be misunderstood as weakness.
Instead as a greatness of divine humbleness.
The poet says, have a humble nature.
To convert the arrogance into compassion.
The POWER of Wealth, Influence and Authority
Will try to create Arrogance and Ego of Superiority.
But the weaker victim can utilize only the Humbleness.
As that is only thing that he has, he is Left with.
As he would never win a fight of anger and arrogance.
Being Humble is always the Wisdom.
Will try to create Arrogance and Ego of Superiority.
But the weaker victim can utilize only the Humbleness.
As that is only thing that he has, he is Left with.
As he would never win a fight of anger and arrogance.
Being Humble is always the Wisdom.
